Statement
M.S.
Youth Services is a community-based, direct services organization
that provides a safe, home environment for abused and neglected
boys in need of alternative living. The program focuses on the
individualized needs of our children to prepare them for the transition
from group living to reunification with their family, fostercare,
or independent living. In a nurturing environment, we address the
emotional, physical, educational and spiritual needs of our children
through mentoring, tutoring, educational programming, individual
counseling, cultural enrichment, life skills training, problem
solving techniques, goal setting, recreational therapy and community
service activities. Through these services, our children learn
life skill development, personal responsibility, accountability
for choices and the importance of giving back to the community.
