Elect
Lady Alberta Bell Williams is the sixth of eith children born
to the late Estelle Bell and the late Joe Bell in Ridgeway, South
Carolina. After graduating from High School, Elect Lady moved
to Connecticut where she completed two-year Business College
curriculum.
She is the bride of our Presiding Bishop Grant B. Williams, Jr. Ph.D., mother
of four, and grandmother of an extended family of grandchildren that include
biological and other children who know her as Nana or Grandmother Williams.
The Elect Lady has ministered with our Presiding Bishop both at home and
abroad. She has assisted him in founding ministries and churches. She was
his consultant
and confidant in the founding of the "The Lord's Churches, Fellowships and
Ministries International, Inc."
Elect Lady Alberta is a graduate of Andersonville Baptist Seminary. Her term
paper she wrote a conscientious, in-depth and candid paper entitled "The Pastor's
Wife". She has counseled with countless women who serve in various roles.
Some of them are wives, ministers, mothers and pastor's wives. She prefers
a private
behind the scene ministry, as her spiritual gifts are helps, administration
and leadership.
Elect Lady has experienced several devastating personal losses; her oldest daughter,
a beloved stepson, a dear younger sister and her pride of her life, her grandson
Isaiah. Yet, she goes on, seriously hurt, sometimes confused, but she goes on
ministering to women, children and her family.
Her losses have inspired her to reach out to children and the lost in a way that
she never had before. After her first trip to Africa, she sees the world as a
much smaller world. But she also sees that hurting, starving children who don't
know Christ, and she feels compelled to try to make a difference in their lives.
Elect Lady Alberta, the bride of the Presiding Bishop, is a daughter, mother,
and friend. Her greatest testimony is that about all else she is a child of the
King.
