| The Capitol District
of the Washington Conference, Second Episcopal District
of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is seeking corporate
and business sponsorships for the Annual Church School
Convention held each year. This is an opportunity that
is provided to over 40 communities in the DC, Maryland
and Virginia areas to join together and serve at risk youth
as well as our communities at large through fellowship
with one another. It also provides an educational experience
with workshops and seminars to all who are interested in
attending. This two day event includes an oratorical contest,
a "Joy Night" full of praise and worship, physical fitness
activities, teachings about the Bible, arts/crafts, and
informational workshops. Each year the event grows and
one of the goals of the convention is to provide the opportunity
for every child or adult to come, learn and share in this
